Code of conduct
Treeskier Carpool works because people show up and look after each other. The basics:
Everyone
- Be on time. If you're running late, call your car.
- Withdraw as soon as you know you can't go. Cancelling after 7 PM the evening before is a late cancel.
- A no-show without a word is the one thing that breaks trust. The first is a warning; a pattern loses access.
- Pay what the trip listed. No haggling after the fact.
- Be kind. No harassment, discrimination or pressure of any kind.
- Respect park & ride rules: day use only, follow posted signs.
- Never buy, sell or trade parking reservations through the app.
- Keep messages about the ride. No spam, selling, or pressuring anyone. Report messages that cross the line, and block anyone you don't want to hear from.
- Profile photos are optional. If you add one, it should be you: no other people, no kids on their own, nothing explicit. Admins remove photos that break this.
Drivers
- Drive sober, rested and within the conditions. Carry chains when the pass requires them.
- Keep your license, registration and insurance current.
- Describe your car, gear room and winter setup honestly.
- Share costs only. No profit.
Riders
- Bring only the gear you said you would.
- Follow the driver's reasonable requests about their car.
Problems
Report a problem. A person reads every report. For an emergency, call 911.
