Carpool

How it works

4 or more in the car? You park free.

Stevens Pass needs a parking reservation before 10 AM on most weekends and holidays. Cars with 4 or more people (or 1 adult with 2 kids 12 and under) park free. Everyone else pays $20.

Treeskier Carpool helps fill cars, on reservation days and any other day you want to ski. The app is free to use: no fees, no subscription. Riders may chip in for gas, as each trip lists upfront.

For riders

  1. Sign up free with your email and set up a profile: name, phone (kept private), and a rough area.
  2. Find a trip by date. Each one shows timing, gear room, costs, and what happens if fewer than 4 go.
  3. Ask for a seat. The driver confirms. If the car is full, you go on the waitlist.
  4. Meet your car. From 7 PM the evening before, your car's names and phone numbers appear on the trip page.
  5. Show up on time and settle up with the driver in person or by app.

No trip on your day? Post that you're looking so drivers know.

For drivers

  1. Ask to drive from your profile. An admin verifies each driver before they can post.
  2. Post a trip with your pickup lot, timing, seats, gear room, costs and parking plan.
  3. Pick what happens if fewer than 4 go: split the $20 or cover it. Riders see this before asking.
  4. Approve riders. When riders come from different places, the app suggests a meetup that suits everyone's drive.
  5. Trip off? Cancel it in the app, and cancel your reservation at parkstevenspass.com by 7 AM so the spot goes back to the pool.

Meetups

From the west, every route to Stevens joins US-2 by Monroe, so the Monroe Park & Ride is the default meetup. From the east (Wenatchee, Chelan, the Columbia Basin and Ellensburg), every route comes up through Leavenworth, so the Willkommen Park & Ride there is the east-side meetup. People who live near each other can meet earlier. See where to meet.

Parking reservations

Money

The app is free. It shows costs but never handles money. Contributions cover gas and parking, not profit.

Reliability

Withdraw as early as you can if plans change. Cancelling after 7 PM the evening before counts as a late cancel. Weather and road cancellations never count against anyone. Read the code of conduct.
