Terms of use

Last updated November 2026.

These terms cover your use of Treeskier Carpool (“the app”), operated by Treeskier LLC. By creating an account you agree to them and to the code of conduct.

What the app is

The app is a bulletin board that helps people arrange shared, cost-sharing rides to Stevens Pass. Treeskier LLC is not a transportation provider, does not employ or screen drivers beyond the vouching described in the app, and is not a party to any ride. Rides are private arrangements between members.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. Minors may ride only as part of a parent or guardian's party.

Drivers

Drivers are responsible for holding a valid license, registration and insurance, for the condition of their vehicle, and for driving safely in winter conditions. Contributions must only cover the costs of the trip (such as gas and parking), not make a profit.

Parking reservations

Parking reservations are governed by Stevens Pass and its rules. Members may not buy, sell or transfer reservations through the app. The app is not affiliated with Stevens Pass or Vail Resorts.

Risk

Mountain travel in winter carries real risks, including weather, road closures and accidents. You take part in any ride at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, Treeskier LLC is not liable for anything that happens during a ride or as a result of using the app.

Accounts

We may pause or close accounts that break these terms or the code of conduct, for example after repeated no-shows or unsafe behavior.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will note the date above. Questions: [email protected].
